It's SNACK TIME! These Trader Joe's Baked Pizza Flavored Pillow Crisps were in the "new arrivals" section at our Trader Joe's and just begging to come home with us! 

Packaged in a glassine-style bag with minimal label/package decoration, these pizza-flavored crisps are only described as a "Sardinian snack." If you're like me (Bridget, who doesn't know geography and had to look it up), Sardina is the second largest island in Italy, situated in the middle of the Mediterranean.

The crisps cost $1.99 for a 3.5-ounce package. 

These are, in fact, a product of Italy. The suggested serving size is 30 pieces with three servings per package. (Apologies for the blurry pic here.)

She says (Bridget): While not as flavorful as I expected given the vivid color of these crisps, I liked these! They're the definition of "crisp." Great for mindless eating as they're super light and airy (see inside photo below)...you won't be left with a snack hangover or regret. I can't wait to crumble some over a salad! Would pair well with a beer.

He says (Mark): Great packaging and mouth-watering name. I was excited to try these. Each piece is the perfect bite size. The crispiness was very good. But the flavor, not so much. I tried one without looking at the package, and it was not immediately clear what flavor was coming through. Without a dip or sauce, these leave me wanting something else. Now, what's for lunch?
